Zürich is perfect in so many ways, except the prices. Mountains, water, nice people but simply not affordable for more than 2 nights.
We visited Liechtenstein by train & bus for a day trip.The landscape that can be seen on the track is monumental. Vaduz the biggest city in Liechtenstein is more a village – ok let‘s say a very rich village… We climbed to the hill to learn that the castle is not open for public and later visited some Picassos in one of the art galleries.
Finally we made a half day stop in Genevé/Genf. Once again we were impressed by the beauty of the seaside with crystal clear water, the historic buildings, the parks and all the expensive cars.
